If the tubes are breaking the most likely culprit is that the maker is not being descaled. What happens is that scale deposits on the inside of the heater, the heater gets inefficient, so the metal parts of the heater get hotter than they should to turn the water to steam and move it up to the showerhead so the hose gets too hot and breaks.

After you get the new hose in there completely dissolve three or 4 teaspoons of food grade citric acit in a full 10 cups (10 six ounce cups+60 ounces) of water, then let it cool and brew it through the machine. It will do wonders for descaling the boiler and cleaning the showerhead, filter holder valve and urn as well.

(Yes I know that to most humans a cup is 8 ounces, but in CoffeeWorld a cup is 6 ounces.) Let it cool and brew it through the machine. It will do wonders for descaling the boiler and cleaning the showerhead, filter holder, valve and urn as well. Then run at least two plain water brews through your machine.
