My pc takes forever to start, although it has SSD, and it lags a lot

I have an Hp computer that used to work just fine, until recently, it takes about 2minutes to turn on when it used to turn on fast, plus when im using it it suddenly lags and i cant use the mouse or move anything when that happens, I turn it off and on to fix, I don't understand what is the issue.
