Do you know if it's possible to come to the authorised apple service and pay them to calibrate the self-replaced screen from eBay? I don't care about the warranty terms any more or anything else like this, it's all gone. I just wish to get rid of these artefacts. I have already invested in this "new" used replacement so much money that I don't care about paying some extra for calibration...but if I need to buy the official replacement again just to avoid these shady things, that makes it economically not reasonable at all...will just adapt how to live with these until better days.

By the way, changing the desktop wallpaper to solid black helps not to see these on the desktop. It's visible a bit in the browser window and so on, but that's already a bit better.
