I fixed one myself using an heat gun and soldering iron, hard part is stripping the laptop then removing the metal cage around the sim card tray, the gold contacts are easy enough to solder on and off, i looked at many old phone sim card contacts to find a useable replacment , i broke off 3 and fixed mine. just hope you havent broken the contacts and need to make tracers to the pads pulled off,
