Rock band 1 wired guitar will not turn on / connect.

I have a Xbox 360 wired Rockband 1 fender, it’s been 5ish years sense I last used it but I dug it out to play clone hero on, but when I plugged it wasn’t working, the light for the Xbox 360 logo on it would flash for a second and then shut off. I first tried a different break away cable end but I got the same result, I tried the classic wiggle the cable around to see if holding the cable in a specific way would make a better connection but I had no luck with that. I took the guitar apart and looked at the main board and there were these 2 capacitors that’s caps had turned a purplish black, all the other ones still had silver caps so I’m guessing that may be the problem?
