According to Microsoft's support page (https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/change-your-pin-when-you-re-already-signed-in-to-your-device-0bd2ab85-b0df-c775-7aef-1324f2114b19#WindowsVersion=Windows_10), you should be able to go through their process to reset your PIN. In addition, if you login with your microsoft (some permutation of your microsoft/outlook email address) account (as opposed to a local login which would be a standard username) you also may have an option to reset/login to the laptop via your microsoft account/authenticator.
