@ramonher do you have anything else you can connect besides the cable box? Something like a game console etc.? It could be the cable box (reset that) or the HDMI cable (try a different one). Worst case scenario is that the HDMI IC has failed. Use the chematics in here [document|40206] toi check that. You could of course also try factory reset on your TV.

From what you are describing it sounds more like an input issue then the actual TV hardware.
