Battery and Power Button Replacement

Power button was not working, and the battery was failing.

Ma solution

It was ok. The battery was rather hard to peel out, but after that, the power button procedure was ok.

Mon conseil

The guide says to un-hinge the power button before the cable is detached from the back case. I found that I had to take the volume buttons and ringer select switch off and peel up the cable before I was able to un-hinge the power button. Once the cable was free, I was able to maneuver the power button off the hinge.
