PS3 Cleaning

Mon problème

My first release PS3 (the fat model) was constantly running the fan loudly while watching netflix so I decided to take it apart and give it a good cleaning but my current selection of screwdrivers couldn't reach down to all the screws well and it made the job very difficult.

Ma solution

With the pro tech screwdrivers and an ifixit teardown guide the second attempt went easy as you could ask for. They performed well and were very comfortable.

Mon conseil

Be gentle when removing the rubber cover of the lid retaining screw, it likes to tear.
