Power button replacement Nexus 7 2nd Gen

Mon problème

Tablet shut off one night and wouldnt turn on with button. Screen came on and said charging when I plugged it in though. I sent it in for RMA and they wanted to replace almost everything inside. I saw on the checklist they wanted to replace the power button. So i figured 10 bucks to try and see if that works and it worked!

Ma solution

Took apart the tablet. Super easy. Put the new button in and it turned on right away. The Volume down doesnt work but im not sure if it came like that or another reason. Im just happy it turned back on! 10 bucks for a power button vs 269 is what asus wanted to replace almost everything.

Mon conseil

Don't fall for RMA right away do a little research first! the fix might be easier than you think.
