Mon problème
The story is simple but hey, why not share. So my 10 year old son is sitting on my stool displacing the organized chaos called my desk. He starts going thru the middle drawer and finds a pair of cow magnets I got years ago. He then comes up with the bright idea to see if he can hold one magnet and make the other move... FROM OPPOSITE SIDES OF MY LAPTOP!
Ma solution
Figuring I'm responsible for NOT teaching him that magnets and hard drives don't mix, I drop the $80 for a new 500gb replacement and I have him install it. He LOVED taking the laptop apart and putting the new one in! It was a simple swap and restore, took him 15 minutes.
Mon conseil
Teach your kids NOT to put magnets around electronics!
