Mon problème
Original hard drive died after a lengthily 7+ year stint in our house. I figured it would be cheaper to buy a new(and better hard drive) than buy a new computer so I went for it!
Ma solution
Repair process was much easier than I expected. If you have a shred of fixit ability then this will be a piece of cake for you. Just make sure you get all the tools required and a good clean work space.
Mon conseil
I did not disconnect the LCD connector from the computer itself. I instead disconnected it from the screen seeing as though I could get to the plug much easier there. Thanks for the help iFixit!
