I resorted to using wireless charging for a while but not being able to transfer data quickly from a computer was super annoying.

The repair was surprisingly easy ! Most difficult part of the process is opening up the tablet. Once you get that done its basically clear sailing from there.
Mon conseil
Don't be afraid to tinker!! A calm steady hand will take you very far! Read and review the repair guides, watch a YouTube video or two and you will be okay!
