I'm a computer tech but have never really worked on phones... Read through the instructions (with pictures) on the ifixit website and decided I would give it a shot and I'm glad I did because it was stupid simple and straightforward!
Mon conseil
Bottom line... Local repair shop quoted me $120 to replace the battery so I saved about $90, and have a much better feeling about doing any other type of phone repairs myself in the future... (With ifixit's help of course)!
