Mon problème

My iPad mini was dieing quickly

Ma solution

At first I was intimidated by the thought of taking my iPad part . However, I did my homework on sending it out for repair it really wasn't cost effective. 4 years old and the cost of repair was over $100. I figured at that price I'd buy a new one. I spent $34 at infixit for a replacement battery. When it arrived I quickly tried to switch them out but found out its harder to remove the screen than I thought. I google the process and after trying again gave up. I let it rest for a week and received an email from infixit asking how my experience was. In the email was a different link on how to remove the face. It was much better than the video I previously watched on their site. After going to that link I tried again and had no problem removing the screen a and replacing the battery. If your handy it's not hard but take your time. Go slow! Don't over heat the screen and make sure you use a small suction cup. I grabbed the one from my GPS out of my car. It worked great. The plastic pry tools didn't work great so I used my sons guitar pics, their thin and flexible. Just go slow and make sure you continuously heat the sides to loosen the glue. I highly recommend infixit and their site!
