Mon problème
I dropped my iPhone 5C three times in one day and ruined the digitizer.
Ma solution
It only worked if I turned the contrast way down and then I couldn't see the phone in any direct light... useless.
I bought the repair kit, set up a video on my computer and went piecemeal through the process. It wasn't easy... I only cried twice... I only lost two screws (they're in there somewhere)... and about 25 minutes later I did, indeed fixit.
Day 2. I realized Siri wasn't working. I had to go back in there, I was more fearless this time, and reconnect the itty, bitty speaker panel.
All is well, though I did lose another screw in the process. Had to get and STRONG magnet to locate it. Boy, the screws are tiny, about the size of a deer tick.
Mon conseil
Be fearless! The video I watch had a ham-fisted guy who was a nail biter. He gave me courage. If he could do it, I could do it.
