Mon problème

The batteries started to die after 2-3 hours gaming, which is less then 50% compared to new batteries

Ma solution

I would say, the battery replacement part is fairly easy. Removing the batteries takes time and you need to pull all three battery cells at the same time. I rushed the first cell the first time I did it and I shorted the other two cells almost started a fire. It's 11 500mAh high density cell and that might say nothing to you, but that is almost twice as much as I use for my radio controlled helicopters and if any of those would produce any smoke I would just run. I wanted to save the iPad so I was very brutal on the last two cells and removed them within 30 seconds. Fortunately for me the cells did not explode and the smoke stopped.

Mon conseil

For one, the iPad's glass was very damaged and the screen was already replaced to OEM and the adhesive strips where much stronger than original ones. I really tried to work slowly, but each time I tried the glass broke and shattered into a powder. I got that in my eyes and some got under the skin on my legs and that hurt, but you could not see the particles. I would STRONGLY recommend wearing protective glasses and use tape on the edges of the glass before prying. Even better to tape up the entire screen, this way if the glass brakes it will be contained and not spray in your eyes.
