I purchased the $15 kit which I feel was unnecessary because I couldn't get the iPod touch open with it because the tool was too thick to pry the iPod open. I think that took is a complete waste and I was able to open it very carefully with a razor blade.

I was able to find a tutorial online on YouTube to fix the iPod and everything went pretty good. The iPod works now and the battery I received is great. As I said before, the kit was useless and I should've just purchased the battery in the first place.

Mon conseil

I wouldn't purchase the tools. Unless you don't have a small screwdriver, that is the only useful tool in the kit. I recommend using a razor blade to carefully pry the iPod open. Watch the you tube video online as they are very helpful.
