Ma solution

OK - was just that little piece of metal that was pretty fiddly to get back in under the contact. It kept flipping out and I had to pull out my trusty tweezers!

Mon conseil

Tweezers in one hand and plastic tool in other hand! makes it easier when putting back contact piece etc.
