Mon problème
My battery on my phone did not keep a charge, this was after three years of use. So I wanted to change the battery.
Ma solution
The repair went smoothly. I watched the video once all the way through without doing anything to familiarize myself with the project. Next I followed with the video and did the step by step instructions with them, kept my parts organized with the handy grid on the plastic tray that covers the bits on the Pro Tech Toolkit and had the satisfaction of making the repair myself. The picture and text guides were helpful too!
Mon conseil
I ordered the Pro Tech Toolkit after researching many tool kits and found that one to be the most inclusive of the tools that I would need. I also bought it because with the amount of devices that my family and extended family owns, it would be nice to be able to help them out too. I had everything that I needed at my fingertips. Total cost of the kit and the replacement part (sorry iFixit, I found the battery cheaper elsewhere) was still cheaper than if I would have taken it to a store to be repaired. I like to do things myself and am mechanically inclined. Repair is Nobel!
