iPad 3 Battery Repair Success

My battery kept a charge for about an hr.

The repair was mostly straightforward. But there were definitely some quirks.

Advice:

- Make sure to heat up the adhesive on the screen thoroughly.

- UNDERSTAND how the ZIF connectors work. If you damage a connector, the repair is basically over unless you are good at microsoldering. You miught need to check you tube to see in detail how they work. Pop the black plastic tab up first, then remove the cable.

- Be extremely gentle with the LCD cable. I broke mine and had to replace the screen,

- Invest in the new adhesive strips.

- Make sure you tuck the screen cable as far back into the Ipad housing as you can before you close it up. Take a picture of how it looks when you open it so that it doesn't pinch.
