Mon problème

Dead video chip on original logic board. Got new board from iFixit. Worked beautifully. One happy daughter.

Have much experience, being an independent tech. repairing dead hardware. This one went very smoothly. No surprises, using the excellent guide on iFixit. Thanks.

Mon conseil

Be careful with all the tiny screws!

I use the sticky side of masking tape and lay out the screws roughly in their respective positions.

Remember all tiny cables that sometimes get hidden when putting the new board in place.
