Mon problème

The battery was inflated and the phone did not work (of course), my father thought about getting rid of it and a more expensive phone, after i asked him if he was happy with his old phone, he said he was, but had no way of changing the battery.

Ma solution

So i went ahead and open the back of the phone, which had a mix of regular 000 Philips screw and star shaped ones, so i opened my IFixit Pro, found the right bit and started to open the phone,

so that the battery was glued to the phone itself, after that i grabbed my iOpener, heated it up to 30 seconds, placed it on the edges of the battery and after a couple of minutes, the glued softened.

pried the old battery with the metal pryer from the kit, replaced it with a new battery that i had ordered and had the old phone work as new.

had the magnetic pad to sort my stuff that i took apart.

I love the tools from IFixit.

Will buy more if needed
