Battery and I/O daughter board replacement

Mon problème

My phone would only receive charge from 5 Watt power adapter ( from an old S5). The 10 Watt fast charge power adapter that came with the phone would not register as plugged in.

Ma solution

The problem seems to have been fixed with a new battery. I replaced the I/O board while I was at it just in case.

Mon conseil

Heating the tape did NOT take 2-5 minutes like the instructions imply. I spent more that an hour hearing and reheating my phone.

The phone will function (power on) but will not charge without reattaching the very first black panel that you remove as the first step once the glass back is taken off. That panel is actually the wireless charger and houses the charging temperature resistor. Without the panel attached, the phone will think it is too cold to charge.
