Mon problème
One the left an iPhone 3GS with a cracked back cover, on the right an abandoned 3G with a "Donor" sticker and a clean back cover
Ma solution
I used the spudger, plastic and metal, the ph#00 driver, so much more comfortable than my old tools. Repair went smoothly up to the point where I realized the camera casing for the 3G and 3GS are not compatible but fortunately they can be swapped too.
Mon conseil
Read the comments on the 3G back cover removal before following the steps, there are precious information there, not mentioned in the steps
