Powersupply getting too warm.

Mon problème

My customer did come to my company and had a heatingproblem with his Imac 24". I checked with temp-monitor and the powersupply was about 60-70 degrees celsius after a while and the screen was flickering whilst the back of the computer got warm where the powersupply was.

Ma solution

I think it went well, after assembling the powersupply bought on Ifixit the temperature dropped to 41 degrees celsius.

Mon conseil

Yes, about the LED-cable mounted under the powersupply, loose the two screws on the right side (mounted in plastic) and lift the powersupply a bit for easy release and mount of the cable.
