My windshield wipers were stuck on like they were welded. I removed them with channel lock pliers. I put the top jaw of the pliers and placed it under the wiper and the bottom claw of the pliers and put it on the mounting bolt. squeezed as hard as I could and Pop! It came loose.

    • Lift up the plastic cover.

There is a lip on the back side of the cowling. I placed a flat pry bar underneath the cowling from the engine compartment towards the windshield and used the flat lip of the firewall top edge to pry the cowling straight up; not forward or backward but straight up. Mine was stuck with years of debris that turned to a natural glue!
