2008-2015 Chevrolet Cruze Oil and Oil Filter Replacement

    • Drain oil from oil pan until flow comes to a slow drip.

    • Remove the oil filter from the Engine Oil Cooler assembly, and replace Oil Filter and O-Ring with new parts.

    • Tighten Oil Filter Cap down to 25 N-m.

    • Replace oil pan drain plug with new part and torque down to 14 N-m.

    • Pour 4.25 quarts of engine motor oil into by removing the oil filler cap on top of cylinder head.

    • Tighten oil filler cap down tightly.

    • Let engine run for 5 seconds and shut off engine.

    • Check engine oil level using a clean rag and the oil dipstick.
