Guide Purpose: Brake Light stopper replacement
Parts Description: The part is a small plastic piece used to stop the brake from being engaged when not being pressed.
Reasons for guide: Brake light stuck on, causing the battery to drain overnight.

Remove the panel protecting the pedal system. It will be under the steering wheel just above the pedals.

Rotate the plastic latch a quarter turn clockwise.

The plastic cover will be hanging on by a friction clip on the right side.

Grab the piece with both hands and pull down and out on the panel.

Check that you are in park with the handbrake engaged and start the car.

Push in the brake so you can insert the stopper, using force to push the stopper in place.

Make sure the brakes work and turn off properly.

Follow steps 1 and 2 in reverse.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
