Acer Aspire One 532h-2527 RAM Replacement

This guide will show how to remove the small back plate on your netbook. The removal of the plate is necessary to access your netbook’s RAM.

    • Locate the unlock latch on the top right corner of the back.

    • Gently slide the battery out.

    • Use the #0 Phillips Screw bit with the Screwdriver to remove the single 6mm Phillips screw from the small back plate.

    • Use the plastic opening tool on the recessed notch at the bottom of the small plate to gently lift the plate up

    • Once the plate becomes unhinged, gently rotate the plate to take it of of the device.

    • Using two fingers, gently spread the latches on the sides of the RAM card until the RAM card props up.

    • Once the RAM card is propped up, carefully pull it out of its port.
