    • Remove 10 screws.

    • Note: front screws (blue) are 10mm long, central and rear (brown) are 12mm.

    • With opening tool or pick go around the case starting from back corner.

    • Lift cover and now you have access to most of the components.

Any chance iFixit will make the battery replacement? There's a link to buy it on Amazon, but I've had batteries bought from Amazon fail within 3 months for other laptop models. Amazon is full of low quality batteries that aren't worth the money.
