    • Locate the battery and remove it from its slot at the end of the drill opposite the motor. It should be at the butt of the drill by the handle.

    • Unplug the battery by pulling out both the red and black wires. They should come out easily with a little bit of force.

    • But be careful not to disconnect the wire from the metal it is attached to. In order to avoid this, pull the wire out by holding on to the metal part instead of just the wire.

    • Now take the replacement battery and slide the metal parts of the wire into the metal part of the battery.

    • Make sure that the red wire connects to the curved end of the battery, and that the black wire connects to the straight end of the battery.

this drill adapter, why "6V" and the adapter body is marked 9VAC output? which is true output?

Can someone test the output and tell me the voltage? VDC? VAC? thankyou.

Unfortunately I do not own the drill anymore so I can't test its output. I do know that the battery used is 6V, so I would assume that is the output. Hopes this helps!

Where can I buy the replacement battery pack for less than replacing the tool?

shgarceau - Réponse

Well, I just checked B & D's web site and can buy a battery pack for $17.95 PLUS $10.99 shipping (cheapest offered).

I think buying a new one is a better idea.
