I don't know what type of batteries are used in this drill, but you can buy them by clicking on the link entitled Black and Decker Pivot Plus PD600 Replacement Parts on the main page, or by using the below
1. What if you discover broken wires at the solder joints on the circuit board? 2. Which part of the charger connector is + and -? (The pin, or the shield?) Miike Smith 8/19/2021
Is there a schematic for the circuit board available?

Now take the replacement battery and slide the metal parts of the wire into the metal part of the battery.
The battery replacement pack is nearly as expensive as a new drill and seemingly unavailable (universally marked for backorder), making this impractical for two reasons. Can someone who has replaced the battery pack disassemble it so we can see what components it’s made of? It may be easier to rebuild the battery pack from individual components rather than to order a stock one.
Also, the wires from the PCB connected to the motor are on the other side of the joint (where the drill bends), making the connections susceptible to metal fatigue. The black wire attached to the motor on my drill broke free from years of switching the joint from straight to charge and bent to use. I fixed it with scrap wire, cable ties, and a hot glue gun to ensure it never happens again.
Very disappointed in this product!!!

this drill adapter, why "6V" and the adapter body is marked 9VAC output? which is true output?
Can someone test the output and tell me the voltage? VDC? VAC? thankyou.

Unfortunately I do not own the drill anymore so I can't test its output. I do know that the battery used is 6V, so I would assume that is the output. Hopes this helps!
Garbage product ??????
Where do I order the replacement battery
