Step 1 — Install the Batteries

1. Flip the camera upside down.
2. Open the battery door using your fingernail or a coin.
3. Insert two CR2 batteries, matching polarity.
4. Close the compartment securely.

Step 2 — Mount a G-Mount Lens

• AF hunts or fails: Low contrast scenes or low light—switch to MF or use a focus-recompose method.

• LCD displays ERR: Restart the camera by removing batteries for 10 seconds.
• Film tearing or misloading: Pull the leader only to the orange mark; over-pulling causes tension issues.
