    • Unplug the device and flip it over so the bottom is facing upwards.

    • Remove the four screws circled in the image.

    • Remove the bottom panel.

    • Use a spudger to remove the red plastic tube off of the metal.

    • Repeat this for the other side of the silver pipe deeper in the device as shown in the second image.

    • Pick up the middle pipe and slide the hot plate out of its area.

    • Apply new thermal paste to the hot plate.
