Disconnect the battery cable from the system board.

Well, nice description, but you need to remove the bottom cover by first removing all the screws, then using a pry device, sliding it around the edge until you can pop off the bottom cover. THEN you can access the four screws on the battery.

Remove the screws that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.

Étape 3 Lifting the Battery

Lift the battery off the palm-rest assembly.

Étape 4 Grounding the System Board

Press and hold the power button for five seconds to ground the system board.

Étape 5 Align the Screw Holes

Align the screw holes on the NEW battery with the screw holes on the palm-rest assembly.

Étape 6 Replace the Screws

Replace the screws that secure the battery to the palm-rest assembly.

Étape 7 Connecting the Battery Cable

Connect the battery cable to the system board.

For my new battery, I had to take the connector from the old battery and use it on the new one.
