Introduction
The screen is one of the most important parts of a laptop and in the event the screen goes bad, many would get rid of their laptop, despite the rest of it function just fine. In this guide we will show Dell Inspiron 910 owners how to replace their screen and save their laptop.

Flip the laptop so the battery is facing upwards.

Push the battery release tabs toward the center of the device.

Remove the battery.

Using a plastic opening tool, pry the front silver bezel away from the colored portion.

There will be two screws holding the metal casing that retains the screen. Using your Philips #00 screwdriver, unscrew them and pull the casing outwards.

NOTE: Keep track of where you put the screws after you remove them. Keep screws of the same size together and away from screws of different sizes.

Now that you've pulled out the screen casing, look for four screws, there will be two on each side of the casing.

Using your off-hand’s thumb, hold the screen in place. Using the Philips #00 screwdriver, unscrew all four of the screws.

Carefully remove your hand, and gently let the screen down being careful not to damage the ribbon connector.

Pull down the laptop's back; keeping the screen upright, held in place by two metal strips going along its sides.

On either side of these strips there will be two screws. Unscrew them on both sides. While unscrewing the screws on the second side, make sure to hold the screen so that it doesn't fall when the screws are removed.
