Access and replace defective vacuum motor on the Ecovacs DEEBOT D35.

  1. Lay the Deebot over so that the backside is facing up and remove the battery

  2. Locate and remove the 9 screws with a PH2 Phillips Head Screwdriver on the backside of the Deebot. The screws are:

    • 2 x 10mm screws

  3. Use a spudger or plastic opening tool to separate the Deebot backside.

  5. Carefully lift the back cover from the body of the Deebot to expose the internal wiring harnesses.

  6. There are 5 wiring harnesses that need to be disconnected before completely removing the back cover. There are two blue wiring harnesses on the front left and right side (located next to the sensor). They are represented by the red arrows

  7. Locate the 4 screws on the vacuum motor.

  8. Remove the screws from the vacuum motor body with a PH2 Phillips Head Screwdriver. The screws are:

  9. Remove the vacuum motor body
    • Remove the vacuum motor body
