HP 14-fq1025nr Battery Replacement

Introduction

This guide will teach you how to remove the battery of a HP 14-fq1025nr laptop and replace it a new one.

The battery provides and stores power for the computer. If faulty, the device may fail to boot up or lose power quickly. Flip the laptop upside down so the bottom cover is facing up.

Use a pair of tweezers to grab and pull the feet off of the cover.

Remove the two 4 mm screws using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
Remove the six remaining 6 mm screws located around the edges and underneath the feet using a Phillips #0 screwdriver.
