Yes I’m wondering the same thing. I see just the keyboard for sale online, but it appears it may have plastic rivets that connect it to the top panel. Can anyone confirm this to be the case, that the keyboard itself can be removed from the top panel? Is the keyboard held to the top panel assembly by screws or by rivets?

Wow im wandering the same thing. I bought a keyboard replacement online but its just the keyboard. How the heck are we supposed to change just that.

Bros, I just cracked the code…! You have to pry the thin metal frame off using a small picking tool or even a butter knife.

Slide in your knife or pick and pull up a tad; the melted plastic points with slip back or crack away just enough to pull the frame off. Then you can pull out that old keyboard an slide in your replacement.

What does it mean if it beeps twice and doesn’t turn on? I replaced the cmos battery and thought that would fix that beeping sound.
