HP Envy m6-k022dx Heatsink Replacement

Introduction

You will need the proper size Phillips head screw driver to remove the screws securing the heat sink. You will also need to remove the CPU fan before you start to remove the heat sink.

    • Grab the fan power connector by the wires and pull directly away from port until the cable is disconnected.

    • Make sure you have a Philips 00 size screwdriver to remove the screws.
