    • If the screen is difficult to remove, use an opening tool to pry the sides of screen from the screen casing.

Thank you for this great guide, been very useful knowing how to remove the screen from th housing! However; I'm looking to replace not the screen but the 'screen housing' as the plastic bracket that the hinges screw into (three round flat screws you can see for each hinge) has torn. Very bad design IMHO. The entire screw/bolt has just torn free (all three) on the right hinge. Seeing as the plastic bracket is glued to the metal casing it is irreparable…

Anybody know where I can get the replacement (my HP Envy has a metal/aluminium housing in silver colour).
