HP Omni 10 Battery Replacement

Introduction

Using a spudger and a 00 Phillips head screwdriver, this guide will show how to remove a battery from an HP Omni 10 tablet in roughly 5 to 10 minutes. Be careful with the battery, as it can be volatile when punctured with metal instruments.

    • Remove the back cover from the tablet.

    • The cover is securely fastened to the device and may be difficult to remove.

    • Push the black plastic security flaps into an upward position.

    • Lift the small tab on the security strips up and peel them across the battery. They will be attached via adhesive.

    • The orange strip does not fully detach from the tablet like the other three. It will only detach from one side.

    • Unhook the cord from the edge of the battery.

    • Pull the wire circuit out and down.
