This is a guide on how to take apart the Hamilton Beach Hand Mixer (Model number 62683). This will allow you to take a look inside in case you believe anything is broken or is in need of repair.

  Hold the hand-mixer upside down in order to access the bottom.
  
  Remove the three screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
  
  Carefully remove the bottom of the plastic casing.

  Remove the nine screws using a Phillips #00 screwdriver.
  
  The two top most screws will be the most challenging to remove; consider using a longer Phillips screwdriver in order to reach them.
  
  Flip the mixer right side up to remove the top plastic shell.

  Using light force, remove the black micro switch from the plastic shell.
  
  Press the multi switch dial down, being careful to hold on to the mechanism as this will remove it entirely from the plastic shell.
