How to Repair Broken Makeup Powder

Set a paper towel down on your workspace to catch any spills during the repair process.

Using the toothpick, break up the powder into smaller pieces to ensure that all the product is lifted off of the container that it is held in.

Dump the broken powder into a bowl, and tap on the side of the bowl to make sure that all the product is falling in.

Using the cotton swab, wipe off as much of the remaining product as possible into the bowl.

Add 3 drops of isopropyl alcohol into the bowl of powder.

Start mixing the powder and isopropyl alcohol together with the spoon.

Continue to add 3 drops of isopropyl alcohol to the bowl at a time until all the powder is wet.

Clean the container with paper towels and isopropyl alcohol. This will make sure that the completed project will be looking good as new.

Scoop all of the product into the spoon and pour it into the clean container.

Once all of the product is in the container, smooth down the surface with your finger. Try to soften as many of the bumps as possible.

Use the paper towel to clean up the edges of the container.

Let the finished product harden by keeping it unopened for 24-48 hours near a window. Then it will be ready to use.
