To remove the cord secure nut from the housing, twist the nut counterclockwise until the screw slides down easily.

Using a Phillips head screwdriver, undue the screw attached to the green ground wiring. It will now stay disconnected.

Using a pair of scissors, carefully clip the zip ties and disconnect the motor from the power cord. You will no longer need a motor or wires attached. Assure a safe place for your power cord is set to the side continued onward.

Undue first two screws on the side of the ductal housing. Remove and set the screw and two locking washers to the side.

You will need the screws and locking washers to attach new fan duct motor unless new motor comes with set up.

Remove bracket and fan blade from motor. Lift the blade from the duct and set aside.
