How to Restore a Student Desk

Introduction

This is a guide that explains how to get permanent marker off of a desk and then refinish it. This includes sandpaper and tooth paste that will take off the marks. The Amish wood finish returns the wood to its original smooth texture. The wood is then painted over with wood stain to cover the now lighter marks. Take precaution with the wood stain. Make sure you are in a room that can be aired out and make sure you are careful with the stain overall. It will stain anything that it gets on.
