Select an appropriate sewing thread, depending on the fabric: try to match the color and the thickness.

Thread the tin metal wire part of the needle threader through the needle.

Tread the sewing thread through the needle threader, and pull the needle threader.

Measure sewing thread length and make a knot at one end of the tread.

Start from the inside of the pocket.

Pull the needle through the top edge of the pocket.

Try to have small and uniform stitches as possible.

Try not to catch the front side of the pocket fabric.

Pull the thread so that it tightens. Make sure you do not create any creases on the fabric.

At the end of the sewing thread, create a knot and cut the excess thread.

And Voila! - Your pocket is now fixed! Also after ironing, it will look much better.

This simple technique can be used on any types of pockets, also on jackets and pants.
