Peel off the piece of metal that is glued to hold the two halves of the base together.

Unscrew the four 10mm Phillips head screws on the bottom of the device.

Pull all of the wires out of the wirenuts.

Remove the two 10 mm Phillips #1 screws.

Remove the plastic piece stabilizing the gear.
