LG G Pad 7.0 Speaker Replacement

Introduction

This guide shows the procedure for replacing the speaker on an LG G Pad 7.0 as well as all materials needed. Be sure to clean your work space to avoid any unnecessary scratches on the screen as you work.

    • Power down the device.

    • Insert iFixit screen removal tool along the edge of the screen.

    • Carefully work the tool around the edge of the screen avoiding the front camera and volume buttons.

    • Once the screen is free, remove it from the back cover.

    • Using a Phillips #000 head screwdriver, remove the 3mm Phillips head screw holding down the speaker.

    • The speaker is now free and can be replaced.
